Finnair je nacionalna zračna kompanija Finske i ujedno najveća kompanija u Finskoj. Sjedište im je Zračna Luka Helsinki-Vantaa. Većinski vlasnik kompanije je Vlada Republike Finske s udjelom od 55,8%[1]. Finnair je član udruženja Oneworld. U 2012. su prevezli 8,8 milijuna putnika prema 60 europskih i 15 azojskih destinacija.[2] U prosincu 2012. su zapošljavali 6.784 osobe.[3]
Povijest
Finnair je osnovan 1. studenog 1923.[4] Prvi let bio je između Helsinkija i Tallinna 1924. Prvi prekoocenaski let je bio 1969. za New York. Danas Finnair svakodnevno leti na više od 66 destinacija sirom svijeta i slove za jednu od najsigurnijih kompanija na svijetu. Flota im broji 69 zrakoplova + 19 novonaručenih.
