Basananthe littoralis je biljka iz porodice Passifloraceae, roda Basananthe. [1] Sinonim za ovu biljku je Tryphostemma littorale (Peyr.) Engl..[2]
Raste u tropskim predjelima Afrike,[3] i dio je flore Južne Afrike, Lesota, Svazilanda i Jugozapadne Afrike.[4]
