Deutsch: Wappen der ungarischen Stadt Tihany. Das Wappen wurde 1999 von dem Heraldiker Dr. Pál Héjjas geschaffen. Die Streifen sind das Zeichen der Árpáden, einer ungarischen Herrscherdynastie, die Fische stehen für das Fischerdorf Tihany und der Löwe stammt aus einem Siegel aus dem Jahr 1719, das bis 1871 benutzt wurde (Angaben nach Stadt Deidesheim (Hrsg.), Partnerschaften. Die Stadt Deidesheim und ihre Partnergemeinden, Deidesheim o. J., S. 36).
