Backrooms je nadolazeći američki znanstvenofantastični horor film[2][3] u režiji Kanea Parsonsa i prema scenariju Willa Soodika.[4] Film je temeljen na Parsonsovoj web seriji i inspiriran je creepypastom "Backrooms". U filmu glume Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett i Lukita Maxwell.

Produkcija
Dana 7. siječnja 2022., Kane Parsons je počeo objavljivati video seriju pod nazivom Backrooms na svom YouTube kanalu Kane Pixels, a koncept je temeljen na istoimenoj internetskoj creepypasti.[9] U veljači 2023. najavljena je filmska adaptacija kao zajednička produkcija između A24, Chernin Entertainmenta, Atomic Monstera i 21 Laps Entertainmenta, a Parsons će režirati.[10]
Glavno snimanje započelo je u Vancouveru u Kanadi 7. srpnja 2025. pod radnim naslovom Effigy.[11] Snimanje je završeno 14. kolovoza 2025.[12]
Glazbu za film skladali su Edo Van Breemen i Kane Parsons.[13]
